COURSE DESIGN

A Jack Nicklaus Signature Course

ALVGC has grown from its original nine holes into a complete 18 hole course shaped with the help of Jack Nicklaus and the Nicklaus Design team.

The back nine was created and the original front nine redesigned to bring the course together as one cohesive experience, with an emphasis on playability and accessibility.

Today, ALVGC is recognized as a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, giving Veterans the opportunity to play a distinctive golf course created with their experience in mind.

PRACTICE & INSTRUCTION

Practice, Learn & Improve

ALVGC offers several ways to enjoy golf beyond the course itself.

The Rehabilitation & Learning Center, Full Swing Golf Simulator, covered driving range, putting and teaching areas, and outdoor practice facilities give Veterans space to learn the game, work on their swing, or simply spend more time around golf.

Power Tee

All 10 covered driving range bays feature Power Tee. The system automatically tees the next ball after each shot, creating a more comfortable and consistent practice experience.

For Veterans who may find repeatedly bending down to tee a ball difficult, Power Tee can make time on the range easier and more enjoyable.

It is a simple example of how ALVGC makes the game more accessible without changing the experience of playing it.
